Whitby Brunswick Centre are holding a Christmas craft fair, with Santa and his elves, on Saturday 3 and Saturday 10 December between 10 and 4.

Alongside Santa, the Christmas craft fair provides the opportunity to buy unique, locally made Christmas gifts. There will be a range of stalls selling Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, jewellery, knitwear, hand made preserves and unusual gifts as well as a wide range of audio CD’s and vinyl records.

Craft fairs have been held most weekends over the summer, popular with visitors and local residents.

Whitby Brunswick Centre can be found in Whitby town centre, it is half way up Brunswick Street, on the right hand side. This historic Grade 2* listed building once housed Brunswick Methodist Church. A registered charity, it is now being sensitively renovated and restored to become a useful resource for the community.

Admission to the craft fair is free, to visit Santa and his elves will cost £3 per child and every child will receive a present from Santa. All proceeds will go towards the restoration fund. Hot and cold drinks and refreshments will be available.

If anyone is interested in renting a stall, Linda Havelock on 07723 045 951 will be happy to hear from you.
