Yorkshireman James Martin serving scampi in Whitby Gazette on TV show This Morning

And the popular chef - a huge fan of Whitby's fish and chips - will be using recent copies of the Gazette for serving the food in the traditional and local way.

In February 2018, the Gazette also took a starring role on an edition of hit cookery show James Martin's Saturday Morning.

Mr Martin, 48, made fish and chips for TV personality and fellow Yorkshireman Sir Michael Parkinson.
