The Old Contemptibles sang popular folk songs for the residents at Larpool Lane Care Home.

There were lots of smiling faces amongst residents and Rotarians at this annual event.

The Old Contemptibles – Rotarian Bob Cameron and his friends Bob Redding, Stephen Foster and John Tunaley – sang and played popular folk songs.

Rotarian Ian Dobson, accompanied by Ann Dobson, sang party songs, specially selected to bring back some happy memories.

A spokesman said: “Thank you to Rotarian David Sleightholme and Barbara Sleightholme for organising the Sing-a -long, and to Larpool Lane Care Home staff for their support with hosting the event.”
