5. The Foulsyke Bistro
The Foulsyke Bistro, located on Barmoor Lane, came in at number five. A Tripadvisor review said: "We had a lovely, warm welcome for our family gathering. Fizz on arrival was very welcome. It was a treat to have a room to ourselves. Food was good - especially the starters! Service was great, and the food was well cooked and hot! Portion sizes were spot on. Friendly dogs, friendly hosts, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money, and a unique dining experience." Photo: Richard Ponter
The Bryherstones Inn, located on Newlands Road, came in at number six. A Tripadvisor review said: "Lovely pub, great food (highly recommend the Roast Beef - melt in your mouth!), staff were friendly and felt very welcome." Photo: Richard Ponter
Lifeboat Fish Bar, located on Eastborough, came in at number seven. A Tripadvisor review said: "Just had the best fish and chips ever, restaurant small only 6 tables, spotlessly clean, and nice staff. Well worth coming here if in Scarborough ." Photo: Richard Ponter
Licorella, located on York Place, came in at number eight. A Tripadvisor review said: "This restaurant is not to be missed. The food is absolutely amazing, service is excellent. The little extra touches you get in between meals are just something else too. Seeing the Manager attend to every table to check you are satisfied tells you it's a fabulous place."
