Dozens of staff members and their families gathered at North Bay chalets for a beach party, which included performances from British, Indian, African and Filipino employees.
A range of food from aross the cultures was also shared and there was music, games, food and dancing.
The event was the culmination of two days of events which included a chapel service with prayers from different countries.
Organiser David Hamilton said: “The culture awareness day was a big success. The generosity of sharing your culture and food brings people together.
"Groups of NHS staff from different parts of the world joined together in celebrating their unique cultures, music, traditional dances and national costume, and food.
“The York and Scarborough Trust are grateful for the staff who have travelled across the world to work for our NHS.
“We all work together day to day as one team.
"We sang I want to teach the world to sing, about unity, understanding, and joy.”
