On the Facebook event page for the protest, he has written: "Such activities could result in your own arrest and/or criminal prosecution, and could also cause a large backlash not just from the local community but nationwide, resulting in damage to the very cause we are fighting for.

"I would like for our protest to be a shining example of protesting done right amid this pandemic.

"No hostility, no criminal activity. Just good people standing up for what is right."

There has also been advice and encouragement for protestors to follow social distancing guidelines, not attend if they have coronavirus symptoms and to wear masks and gloves.

"Chalk will be used to draw three metre squares in the area to ensure social distancing and attendees must wear a mask and gloves," says the event's Facebook page.
