Hannah Verity Dance Studios presented their third annual show, Let’s Move 2018, at Whitby Pavilion Theatre.

More than 150 children exploded onto the stage to showcase their incredible dance talent to two packed audiences of family and friends.

After months of rehearsing, perfecting dances in street, jazz and lyrical the children aged between five and 15 impressed with their confidence, performance and dance skills.

They had so much fun and many kept saying: “I want to do this every day!”

School groups from Airy Hill, West Cliff and Eskdale School also performed after learning their dances over six to eight weeks during their classes in school time.

Students who have never performed before got up on the stage and danced with immense confidence, making memories to last a lifetime.

Dance teacher and company director Hannah Verity said:“I am so incredibly proud of every student who performed in Let’s Move 2018!

“They worked so hard and enjoyed every minute of being a superstar. It is so rewarding to see them all smiling and loving it.”

Thanks to everyone who has supported the children and Hannah Verity Dance Studios to make their dreams become a reality.

The children are already planning Let’s Move 2019.

Two raffles were held on the day to raise money for one of the dancers, Rebecca, who has been battling a rare form of cancer. Her dream is to swim with dolphins and the charity Make-A-Wish is fundraising to help make it happen. A massive £430 was raised over the day.

Hannah Verity Dance Studio’s next big event is the Matilda-themed Summer Performance Workshops running from July 30 to August 2 and open to all children aged five to 16.
