The following people have been sentenced by Scarborough magistrates (addresses Scarborough unless stated):
Alan Russell Collier, 44, of Hudson Street, Whitby: community order made, including 160 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £120 compensation and £380 costs for assault and unlawfully damaging a £20 tent.
Neil Blake, 34, of Queen Street: ordered to pay £160 compensation for unlawfully damaging an electricity meter.
Nathan William Raper Cammish, 25, of no fixed abode: jailed for 25 weeks, plus £15.50 compensation and £80 costs, for thefts of meat products from Tesco and Sainsbury’s and theft of toiletries and meat from B & M Bargains, and breaching a suspended sentence imposed for thefts.
Paul Andrew Dawson, 28, of Saxon Road, Whitby: variation of community order, to attend appointments or participate in rehabilitation activity requirement for maximum of three days, for breaching a community order.
Karen Josephine Stubbings, 49, of Lismore Road: discharged conditionally for 12 months, plus £15 costs, for drunk and disorderly behaviour, and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
Storm Denniss, 20, of Lockton Road, Whitby: fined £180 plus £105 costs and banned from driving for 12 months for drink-driving.
Nicholas Dudding, 58, of Eskdaleside, Grosmont: fined £260 plus £111 costs and banned from driving for 14 months for drink-driving.
Stephen Nigel Jowett, 51, of Yorkersgate, Malton: community order made, including four-week curfew and rehabilitation activity requirement, plus £50 compensation, for assault.
David Michael Fallows, 24, of Springhill Lane: community order made, including 40 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £60 costs for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, and failing to surrender to custody.
James Mark Holmes, 29, of Phoenix Drive: fined £440 plus £129 costs for theft of a wallet and contents, and failing to surrender to custody.
Adam Thomas Hunter, 19, of Overgreen Close, Burniston: fined £120 plus £105 costs and banned from driving for 16 months for driving while the proportion of a controlled drug, namely delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, in the blood was above the specified limit.
Stanley Mooring, 83, of Beck Isle, Pickering: fined £140 plus £100 compensation and £645 costs for assault.
Kirstie Marie Lee, 21, of Longwestgate: fined £35 plus £20 costs for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
Damon Nicholas O’Nions, 30, of Dean Road: community order made, including 26-week curfew and six-month exclusion from Olympia Leisure, Scarborough, and Debenhams, Scarborough, plus £460 compensation, for theft of £206 worth of fragrances from Debenhams, and theft of a cash box and damaging a gaming machine at Olympia Leisure.
Daniel Robin Messruther, 42, of Springhill Road: community order made, including six-week curfew and £145 costs, for possessing Diazepam, a class C controlled drug, with intent to supply it to various associates.
