Patients in Whitby are being reminded that a number of GP practices in the area will be closed for a large part of next Tuesday.
The practices will either be closed or have altered services between 12.30pm and 6.30pm on June 7 due to important staff training.
Danby and Egton surgeries are open as usual but Robin Hood’s Bay surgery is closed.
Staithes Surgery is open for prescription collections and the nursing team will see patients who have appointments but there will be no GP present.
The same applies to Whitby Group Practice while Sleights and Sandsend Medical Practice will be open for medical collections and routine enquiries but there will be no GP on the premises.
Out of hours cover can be accessed by ringing the NHS 111 number.
