When a fundraising event for the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue turned into a real-life drama last year it spurred an ultra marathon team member into action...again.

Kelly Jackson organised a 31 mile Hardmoors Princess Challenge and not leaving it there she organised another event for 2014 which took place at the end of August - along with a Princess Short n Sweet version plus an 8.5 mile race.

It raised £2315.51 for the mountain rescue team and the cheque was handed over at last Saturdays Hardmoors Goathland Trail Marathon.
