A bed and breakfast in Staithes has won a hall of fame award for continued excellence in hospitality.
Roraima House has been handed a Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame winner accolade in recognition of five years of excellent reviews on the travel website, Trip Advisor.
The Hall of Fame has been created by Trip Advisor in recognition of places to stay that have received a Certificate of Excellence for the last five consecutive years.
Other winners include accommodation, restaurants and attractions all over the world.
The guest house is run by Sandra and Stuart Purdie - who is involved with Staithes and Runswick RNLI.
They said: “Being awarded the Certificate of Excellence five years in a row and inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ is a true source of pride .
“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers. “With the Certificate of Excellence based on customer reviews, the accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our business and commitment to excellence.”
Roraima is a Victorian house which has three double rooms, a twin and an apartment. Guests are treated to a full English breakfast and home-made cakes.
