Fund-raising day to help animals

There will be a fund-raising day and animal food drive tomorrow, with the money raised being donated to Raw Animal Rescue and Yorkshire vetinarian Stuart Easby, who will put his share towards animal vaccines.

The day begins around 10am by spending the morning at the Military Adventure Park in Scarborough, where volunteers will be able to pay a special discount price of just £3 to enjoy a range of activities such as paintballing, archery, tank-driving, and an inflatable assault course.

In the afternoon, the event will move to Scarborough’s North Bay Railway, where there will be a raffle, as well as the opportunity for visitors to pay to join in on an enjoyable three-and-a-half mile ride around on the railway.

There will be collection tins on hand all day round for anyone wishing to contribute.

All funds and food raised will be donated to Raw Animal Rescue and Stuart Espy, who currently works for Caroll’s Racing Stables in Driffield.
