This year’s Eskdale Festival drew to a close with what organisers described as one of its “best ever” gala concerts.
The show, which is the grand finale of the annual event, featured some of the top musicians and performers of the spoken word from the previous two weeks of competition.
Dave Bradley, chairman of the festival, said: “The gala concert was one of best that I can remember, there was a very high standard of performance. It was superb.
“Our first ever big band competition was another highlight. As a whole, this year’s event went very well, the new elements were a success and we attracted bigger audiences.”
