A series of walks from Robin Hood’s Bay raised £500 for the British Heart Foundation.
Walkers could chose from two routes - three miles or six miles - which both began and ended in the village.
The money raised was £500 and was handed over by organiser Celia Doubleday at the monthly meeting held at Kirkham Community Centre.
Sharon Oakley the BHF`s fundraising manager for North and East Yorkshire colected it and spoke about the work of BHF and current research.
Kim Peacock, Barry Foster and Sylvia Clark were thanked for their help with the walk and Kath Phillips for the refreshments.
At the meeting on Wednesday 16 November, 7.30pm, there will be Christmas crafts by Glynis Jowitt.
