Famous restaurant reviewer, AA Gill dies aged 62
The famous Sunday Times restaurant reviewer, AA Gill has died three weeks after revealing he had cancer.
Gill published a review last month hailing The Magpie fish and chip restaurant in Whitby as having the "best fish and chips in the world."
The same review opened by stating that he had cancer, which he described as "an embarrassment of cancer, the full English."
He visited town when The Grand Tour filming took place in October and dined at The Magpie with Jimmy Carr.
