Art students from Caedmon College Whitby have been showcasing their work this week in an exhibition at Pannett Art Gallery.
The Class of the Year 2016 show began at the weekend and features work in various media, including acrylics, textiles and photography, by A-level fine art and B-Tec art and design students.
Director of Learning for Art and DT, Andrea Brown, said: “The feedback has been really positive and people have made some comments in the book.
“Every year, we feel like we have done the best show we have done, but this year has had a lot of impact.
“We’ve pushed students to choose more contemporary artists and understand the meaning behind it.
“It involved a lot of people’s thoughts and emotions.”
Don’t despair if you’ve not yet had a chance to go - the exhibition is still on until Sunday.
