The Pannett Art Gallery is delighted to be hosting an exhibition of fantastic work by Sixth Form students of Caedmon College Whitby.

This year’s exhibition includes an amazing range of work from the final year A-Level Art and A-Level Graphic Communication students.

There is a spectacular range of creativity on display.

Work includes an incredible variety of fine art, from larger than life sized figures to brightly coloured faces and emotionally depicted characters. The diversity of other styles and artforms is impressive, including a beautifully embroidered, appliqued and printed textile garment and beaded portraits, fashion style drawings, extremely professional graphic designs, wonderful photography and digitally manipulated images, paper sculpture and so much more.

Parents and friends were invited to a special preview evening in the gallery where the achievements and endeavours of the students was celebrated.

A number of achievement prizes were presented to students, awarded by staff as well as some voted on by fellow students.

This exciting and innovative exhibition is on for a limited period as the students’ work must be returned to Caedmon College for the final exam marking.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this exhibition, it is open until Sunday (May 21).

The Pannett Art Gallery opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday 9.30am to 4.30pm, admission free.
