Egton Primary School pupils have been busy cooking up the perfect recipe to raise money to fight serious diseases that can impact young and old.
On the last day of half term, the village school had a cup cake sale in aid of Crohns and Colitus UK. They raised a grand total of £72.65. The event was dreamt up by an Egton pupil who has a relative that suffers with the illness. Friends Amy, Alphie, Sophie and Louise they presented an assembly to promote their event and inform everyone about Crohns disease.
This linked to Egton’s Assembly theme, which was Compassion. The cake sale was enjoyed by everyone and sold over 100 cakes.
