Police issue CCTV appeal after theft from shop at Ruswarp, near Whitby

CCTV photos have been released of a man police want to speak to after a theft from a shop near Whitby.

A body warmer and three pairs of socks were taken from BATA Country Store on Sneaton Lane, Ruswarp.

Officers are urging anyone who recognises the man in the photos to get in touch.

Anyone who knows him or has information about the theft, which happened at 10.30am on Monday, September 7, should call police on 101, select option two and ask for Marie Williams or email [email protected], quoting reference number 12200158079.

Details of the incident have just been released.
