PEOPLE packed into Whitby’s St Hilda’s Church for a rousing festive concert to raise funds for a baby hospice.

Caedmon School Choir, backed by the Tuesday Singers and the Dalesmen Singers Male Voice Choir all took part in the Carols for All evening on 21 December.

Stephen Maltby head of music at Caedmon School led throughout the evening and encouraged the congregation to sing along to the well- known carols.

The evening finished with a rousing We Wish You A Merry Christmas finale.

Proceeds from the evening will go to Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Middlesbrough.

The Dalesmen Singers is a registered charity and have raised thousands of pounds for good causes over the past 40 years.
