Whitby residents will get a chance to have their say on crime and community safety when the North Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner visits the area next week.
Julia Mulligan is spending two days in the Scarborough and Ryedale area on Wednesday and Thursday and private appointments are available at all six surgeries Julia will be holding.
Local residents will be able to meet her to discuss community safety, crime and policing and to give feedback on the service in their area.
She said: “The surgeries are a good opportunity for local people to come along and tell me how the police are doing in your area and to bring up any issues you may have about safety in your community.
“Please do come along and have your say.”
The Whitby session is on Thursday July 7 between 11.30am and 1.30pm at Whitby Library on Windsor Terrace in the town centre.
To make an appointment to see her contact the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner on (01423) 569 562.
