Beer festival at Seafarers Centre

This year’s Whitby Beer Festival, held in aid of Whitby and District Lions Club, is being held until Sunday (29 July).

The popular festival has more than 30 real beers and ciders to sample.

It is being held at the Whitby Mission and Seafarers Centre on Haggersgate.

A spokesman said: “On behalf of Whitby and District Lions, we thank you for your past and continued support of this local charity event and look forward wholeheartedly to seeing you there!”

The £5 entry fee to the festival includes a commemorative festival glass tankard (to keep), a festival real ale and cider guide, and one beer token.
