OK, so it is not on the coast, but it's not too far away. There is something for all ages, from high-speed rollercoasters for adrenaline-seekers to gentle children's rides. And if you like to keep your feet on the ground, you can explore the zoo.
There's plenty of choice if you want to see the coastline from the sea - from the Hispaniola in Scarborough to the Yorkshire Belle in Bridlington - or if you want somnething a bit more high-octane, try the speedboats.
Walk up to the historic castle and take in the views of both bays.
