Last year's Whitby Christmas Festival was unable to take place but in light of recent government announcements, the council is hopeful for a 2021 market - and preparations have now begun.

This year's festival will be held on a smaller scale, without the associated events such as entertainment marquee, festival stage, street theatre or lantern parade.
