Yorkshire Bank glitch leaves hundreds of people without January wages and benefits
Hundreds of people have been left without funds after a Yorkshire Bank glitch.
Wages, disability benefits and HMRC payments are among those which have not been paid into Yorkshire Bank accounts this morning.
Hundreds of angry customers took to social media to complain about the issue to the bank.
Yorkshire Bank have said in a statement on social media they are conducting a 'full investigation' into the cause of the issue.
The statement said: "We are aware of the issues some customers are having with transactions coming in to their accounts.
"We are doing a full investigation and ask that you please bear with us whilst we find out what is causing this.
"Any further information will be provided as soon as we have it."
Many customers claim to initially have been told it is the fault of their employers
