Emma Henderson has become Wasley Chapman and Co’s first female partner in it’s 102-year history.

Emma, who lives in Whitby, recently masterminded the company’s move to larger premises in Scarborough, where she manages the firm’s Yorkshire portfolio.

Emma is now in charge of all of the firm’s marketing, including rebranding and social media.

She said: “Being the first-ever female partner at Wasley Chapman is an incredible honour for me and I’m really proud and excited. Ever since I joined the firm in 2009, I have set my sights on achieving this goal. There’s been a lot of hard work on the way, but I’m thrilled to have finally made a little piece of history.”

Neil Duell, senior partner of Wasley Chapman, said: “I love Emma’s drive and ambition. She’s certainly not afraid of hard work something she proved with project managing the Scarborough office move.

“I’m looking forward to welcoming her on board.”
