YOUNG people aged eight to 18 will get the chance to sing their hearts out today at Whitby Pavilion at a free session.
The session runs from 1pm to 3pm and is being led by Rebecca Gross and Sue McLaughlin.
The Sing Whitby! project is being organised by Whitby Music and is being funded by North Yorkshire Youth Music Action Zone and Extended Schools.
Singing leader Rebecca said: "Previous sessions have been really popular and the kids have produced some amazing singing.
"We'll be setting up a Sing Whitby! choir on Tuesday evenings from June, so this is a good chance to have a go first.
"We hope to get lots of people involved and make some wonderful summery sounds."
Under eights are welcome to the session too if they bring an adult.
For more information, call Sue on (01947) 603509.
