Prelude on double bill

A GREAT double bill is on it way to MoorsholmLIVE in the venue's final gig before a summer break.
Prelude and Steve Daggett will entertain revellers at Moorsholm Village Hall on Friday.

Prelude’s After The Goldrush was issued as a single in November 1973.

Following live Prelude performances on both Capital Radio and Radio One, it quickly became a worldwide success, reaching number one in Canada and Australia and also getting into the UK top 20.

Prelude continue to tour and delight audiences, touring with Don McClean and Joan Armatrading.

As of 2001, Prelude are back to their original trio format and continue to entertain audiences throughout the UK with their vocal harmony sound, featuring Brian Hume on guitar and vocals; Irene Hume, vocals and percussion; Chris Ringer, bass and acoustic guitar and vocals

Former Lindisfarne man Steve Daggett is no stranger to Moorsholm Live, having performed at the first concert of the 2007 season.

He will be playing tracks from his latest CD Songs in a Carrier Bag, alongside a few classic covers and a tribute to Alan Hull.
