THERE are still tickets left to see The Zutons at their outdoor Dalby Forest gig later this month.
The Liverpool band, who have just released a new album, You Can Do Anything, and a new single, Always Right Behind You, will be playing the mega gig on Friday 27 June.
The Zutons are: David McCabe on vocals/guitar, Abi Harding saxophone, Paul Molloy guitar, Sean Payne drums and Russell Pritchard bass. The band will launch a weekend of music in Dalby, near Pickering, with legendary rockers Status Quo playing the following night on 28 June.
Forest chiefs report healthy tickets sales – good news for the environment as profits will be ploughed back into the care of local woods.
You Can Do Anything is the follow-up to the multi-platinum selling albums Tired Of Hanging Around and the Nationwide Mercury Prize nominated debut Who Killed The Zutons?
The Zutons have so far scored two top 10 hits with Why Won't You Give Me Your Love? & Valerie (both from Tired Of Hanging Around) and six in the top 40.
They are Pressure Point, You Will You Won't, Remember Me, Don't Ever Think (Too Much), Confusion and Oh Stacey (Look What You've Done!)
Valerie has been in the top 100 radio airplay charts for 100 weeks. It entered the charts in May 2006 (where it was one of the biggest airplay records of the year) and is still there, courtesy of the Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse version.
Support comes from Noah And The Whale first on at all shows, with the main support act Fionn Regan.
Tickets are still available priced at £26, subject to booking fee and are available from the ticket hotline on (01842) 814612 or online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music and www.gigsandtours.com
