GIFTED clarinettist Matthew Dunn is to entertain an audience at Whitby Pavilion's lunchtime concert tomorrow.
Starting at 12.30pm, Matthew will play music by composers Mozart and Brahms who were very fond of the instrument and wrote masterpieces for it.
The concert will also feature music from Weber.
Pianist Vincent Billington will be the accompanist and piano soloist in some favourite piano pieces.
Matthew is based in Manchester but was brought up in Whitby. He began clarinet lessons at the age of eight and, after studying in the junior and senior department of the Royal Northern College of Music with distinguished musicians, joined the world famous National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
He won many prizes at college, and plays chamber music.
Recently he has appeared on BBC Radio 3 with one of the several orchestras he plays with.
Admission costs £3.
