THE UK's number one Buddy Holly tribute and lead West End star, Marc Robinson, appears at Middlesbrough Town Hall next Friday in his new production: Buddy – a Legend Reborn.
This rock 'n' roll concert show commemorates the 50th anniversary of Buddy Holly's final UK tour.
Clutching a Fender Stratocaster, sporting a pair of heavy-rimmed glasses, and sounding like Buddy in his heyday, Marc Robinson gives an exceptional performance backed by a band reminiscent of the Crickets in their 50s heyday.
He will perform the Buddy Holly hits That'll be The Day, Peggy Sue, Oh Boy, It's so Easy, Heartbeat and many more.
Stars in Their Eyes winner Marc has filled the icon's shoes live on stage for well over 20 years and has given a number of special concerts to some well known names including Sir Paul McCartney and a birthday performance to Sir Cliff Richard.
This fantastic production also honours fellow legends from the same era the Everly Brothers, played by the UK's number one live tribute the Fortt Brothers.
They perform the Everly Brothers' hits Bye Bye Love, Wake Up Little Susie, All I Have to do is Dream and many more.
Tickets are £15 and concessions £14. To book tickets or to obtain further information call the box office on either (01642) 729729 or (01642) 815181.
The concert starts at 8pm.
