TICKETS are selling quickly for Whitby Town Football Club's summer dance.
Headliners of this year's dance are the Blue Meanies, a Beatles tribute act.
They will be supported by local indie rock band Yabbadabbadoo and local guitarist and singer Carl Robinson.
The event is being held on Friday 18 July at Whitby Pavilion.
All the money raised goes to club funds.
The club is currently looking for ways to make money after missing out on £15,000 of sponsorship normally provided by president Brooks Mileson.
But the Blues have missed out on the cash this season due to Mr Mileson's ill health.
Doors open at 7pm and the show runs from 8pm to 12.30pm with the bar open to 12.30pm.
You can get your tickets priced £10 from Diamond Music in Flowergate, Nationwide Building Society in Victoria Square, Whitby and Whitby Town Football Club clubhouse in Upgang Lane.
You can buy tickets over the phone from Whitby Pavilion box office on (01947) 603193 or Martin Hart on (01947) 601599.
