Caedmon plays host to Dracula Rock Show

If you venture out in the direction of Caedmon School on December 7th, 8th or 9th you could be in for a bit of a scare, or you could think you’ve arrived at yet another Goth event.

Pupils at the school are working hard to learn lines, memorise moves and tune up their tonsils. Large amounts of black and white face make-up have been purchased, and there are skeletons, skulls and a variety of bones lying around the drama studio. All this is in preparation for this years’ school show which is ‘The Dracula Rock Show’ (words, music and lyrics by Malcolm Sircom).

During the show you will meet characters such as The Queen of the Night, Doctor Watson, Inspector S Holmes, Professor Moriarty, Quasimodo, Jagged Mick and Dracula himself, though he may not be quite what you expect.

Performances of the show will take place in the school hall, with curtain up at 7pm.

Tickets are £5 and £3 for children (under 16’s), available for purchase from Caedmon School.
