The former Conservative party politician and government minister, Anne Widdecombe bring her one-woman show to Whitby Pavilion.

A Sparkling Evening with Ann Widdecombe promises to be an event full of dynamic words, opinions and anecdotes.

Ann, 67, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, is a novelist, an active campaigner for animal rights and has had many notable TV and stage appearances including presenting Have I Got News For You and her interview with Piers Morgan on Life Stories.

From 1987 to 2010 she was the Member of Parliament for Maidstone which became Maidstone and The Weald in 1997.In November 1990 she was appointed Under Secretary of State for Social Security in John Major’s first administration where she specialised in pensions, and later 
became Minister of State 
Home Office.

But it’s her feathered and sequined routines with Anton du Beke on Strictly that she’s most loved for! She’s at Whitby Pavilion on Thursday September 10 at 7.30pm.
