WHITBY Area Musical Theatre Company has unveiled the title of its latest production.

The group were due to present Guys & Dolls as their spring production in May, but due to a distinct lack of guys, they will present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s A Grand Night for Singing instead.

This musical revue incorporates numbers from all Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most well works including Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Carousel and The King & I, whilst also introducing the audience to numbers from some of their lesser known musicals such as Flower Drum Song, Pipe Dream and Cinderella.

The revue plots the highs and lows of love through some delightful music and interesting arrangements and the company would be thrilled if you could join them for their Grand Nights at Whitby Pavilion Theatre from 12 to 14 May at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced £6 throughout the theatre and people are urged to book in advance.

The advanced booking line is open until 1 May on (01947) 821383. after which the company will have a booking desk at Whitby Library between 10am and 2pm.

The booking hotline number from 2 May is (01947) 603408.
