FOUR sensational sopranos will sing their hearts out in a production at Whitby Pavilion next month.
The Classical Divas will perform a selection of ever popular classical arias and timeless pop classics.
People can expect to hear classic songs including From the Flower Duet, Nella Fantasia and O Mio Babbino Caro to contemporary covers including the Titanic theme My Heart Will Go On, I Dreamed a Dream from Les Mis, and Think of Me from Phantom.
People can also expect to hear pop classics with Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, Adele’s Someone Like You and Maria Carey’s Hero plus the incomparable Nessun Dorma, the inspiring World in Union, and ever popular Time to Say Goodbye.
The songs will be all lovingly mixed by four young ladies who have all graced the West End stage, in a perfect synergy of breathtaking voices, heart stopping arrangements and beautiful costumes.
The promoter for the performance on Saturday 2 March at 7.30pm said it will be filled with passion, emotion, style and grace.
General manager for Whitby Pavilion Helen Broadbent told the Whitby Gazette: “ It’s great to get the Classical Divas show to the Whitby Pavilion.
“Classical music is something that the venue hasn’t programmed in the past but we think it something that audience will enjoy.
“Since October, we have added a range of shows including Hull Truck and the Northern Ballet with Jane Eyre and Ugly Duckling respectively, Mike Harding and Comic Chris Ramsey.”
