Twilight’s Gleaming will be shining in the moonlight in their concert in Robin Hood’s Bay.
They are renowned uilleann piper Dicky Deegan and locally settled fiddler, Milo Thelwall.
The uilleann pipes have three drones, three regulators and a chanter and are considered the king of Irish instruments and the most eloquent and evocative of all bagpipes.
Milo said: “Dicky Deegan makes a great display of the pipes’ technical attributes with impressive party pieces, whilst the arranged duets add spice to the concert.
“The concert is interspersed with anecdotes and tales.”
Refreshments will be served at the interval and tickets are priced at £8 adults, £6 concessions and £4 for under 16s. You can buy them on the door. The concert will be held on Friday at Fylingdale Village Hall at 7.30pm.
