Alistair Griffin follows up the top 40 success of Just Drive with new single Blinding Lights, one of the outstanding melodically intricate tracks from his forthcoming album Albion Sky.
Featuring the production talents of Ed Buller (White Lies, Suede, One Night Only), the song reveals yet another layer of songwriting prowess from the Castleton artist.
Following the top 20 success of Alistair’s first album Bring It On, Albion Sky is a quantum leap forward and will be released in late 2011.
Featuring Just Drive and new single Blinding Lights alongside the soon-to-be stadium-anthem title track Albion Sky, the album features production collaborations with both Ed Buller, Elliot Kennedy and Ian Grimble. Blinding Lights is available from iTunes and all good digital retailers now.
Alistair first shot to fame on BBC Fame Academy in 2003, where he finished as runner-up to Alex Parkes.
Among Alistair’s fans was Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb.
He will also be performing at a ‘house concert’ on Sunday 23 October at 8pm.
This is slightly unusual, in that it’s an intimate gig in someone’s house, maximum capacity 40 people.
Potential attendees email if they want to come and then a donation is made, suggested at £10.
