Cinema goers can enjoy the sights and sounds of JK Rowling’s prequel to Harry Potter in the surroundings of Dalby Forest when Pop-Up Cinema Yorkshire’s giant movie screen lands this Easter for a one-off open-air screening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on Saturday April 15.

Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) might have come and gone without incident, were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s ‘fantastic beasts’.

Movie goers can now enjoy Popup Cinema in Dalby Forest without the worry of the long drive home on the night. Organisers are now offering reasonably priced no frills camping conveniently located next to the cinema arena.

Director of C3 Events Mike Lynskey said, “This is our second year showing movies in Dalby Forest and we’ll also be visiting other forestry commission sites around the country.

“Fantastic Beasts is a fantastic family film, and with the bonus of being able to camp in the forest and make a night of it, who could resist? So pack your picnic and pajamas and join us for an incredible cinematic forest adventure.”

The Forestry Commission is working in with Pop up Cinema Yorkshire to provide visitors with a chance to see their favourite films in forest venues throughout the year. A high quality cinema system will be erected f, as well as a range of themed food and drink stalls with a licenced bar.

Tickets are available online at www.popupcinema.org priced from £13.50 for adults and £9.50 for children.
