A LUNCHTIME concert tomorrow will present the story of the late German composer and virtuoso pianist Robert Schumman.
The Schumann Story featuring BBC pianist Vincent Billington and narrator Phillip Mindenhall will bring alive Schumann’s interesting life and tell how he fell in love with his future wife at the age of just 14 and how he ruined his career as a promising young musician by stretching his fingers on stage. He died in 1856 aged 46.

This enthralling musical production will be showing at the Whitby Pavilion at 12.30pm, admission £3 on the door.
