THE fabulous world of pollen and what it tells us about our Earth heritage will be revealed at a talk in Whitby.
Mike Windle, director of North East Yorkshire Geology Trust, will give a talk to include an explanation of pollen analysis.

This is one of the techniques used by quaternary geologists to find out the secrets in the landscape.

Pollen grains like snowflakes are very beautiful under the microscope, so Mike's talk should be both interesting and beautiful to look at.

NE Yorkshire Geology Trust is a not-for-profit organisation involved in protecting our rich local geodiversity and sharing with as wide an audience as possible.

If you want to know more, join us, commission an event, buy our trail guides or make a generous donation, call (01947) 881000, email contact@ne yorksgeologytrust.com or visit www.neyorksgeologytrust.comAll money raised goes to supporting the work of the trust.

The talk is next Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm at the Normanby Room in Whitby Museum.
