THE Fylingdales Group of Artists opens its annual exhibition at Pannett Park Art Gallery tomorrow.
The Fylingdales Group of Artists is always an eagerly awaited and a high quality exhibition with works from some of the north of England's leading artists.
It includes David Curtis, from Doncaster, David Allen, from Harrogate, and Jack Rigg from Leeds.
Whitby artists John Freeman and Christine Pybus are also among the exhibiting group members.
The group was founded in 1925 and famous past group members include Dame Ethel Walker from Robin Hood's Bay and Algernon Newton who lived at Goathland and is best remembered locally for painting the Birch Hall Inn pub sign at Beck Hole.
Several members of the Staithes Group of Artists later became members of the Fylingdales Group.
