THE Flying Theatre Company is offering a limited number of complimentary tickets to local schools to see Romeo and Juliet Revisited.
The company, based near Danby for more than 10 years, has performed for 200, 000 people across the UK and Germany, in theatres and schools, in three languges – English, French and German.
Peter Welburn, writer, director and owner of the company,
is also an actor and brings a multitude of talents to the stage.
Having lived in France and Switzerland for many years he is a fluent French speaker, his experience in Street Theatre in Covent Garden brings juggling, unicycle and miming skills alongside the music, drama and comedy from years of touring theatre.
This week Rosa Stride, a native French speaker, flies in from her home in the South of France to rejoin the cast for their March tour.
Anna Larkin moved from Glasgow to Whitby this month to be nearer to the company, look out for a bonny wee lass with an accordion.
The Flying Theatre Company is performing Romeo and Juliet Revisited, for one night only, in their local village, as a fund-raiser for Danby Village Hall.
