PEOPLE looking for ideas on places to visit over Bank Holiday should head to the Inspired by Gallery at The Moors National Park Centre near Danby where photographer Chris Ceaser is exhibiting a collection of framed and mounted prints of the North York Moors landscape.
Capturing the beauty of the moors and coast throughout the year, Chris' photographs will provide plenty of inspiration for new places to visit.
Entry to the exhibition is free and it runs to 5 September.
Also at the Inspired by Gallery is Living Life in Colourful Harmony, an exhibition of vibrant pastel paintings of the National Park by Gillian Haddow who is inspired by the life, mood, colours and experiences of the countryside and influenced by the Impressionists.
For families there will be a self-guided trail around the grounds from tomorrow to the end of the month where children can learn more about the dinosaurs that roamed the land during the Jurassic Period (cost £2.50).
And at The Moors National Park Centre on Monday, the Whitby Company of Archers will be on site all day to give some hands-on instruction in the ancient sport of archery.
For £3 you can have as many goes as you like between 10am and 4pm.
Finally, for anyone worn out by the school summer holidays, there is a holistic therapies day on Sunday where you can relax by trying a range of sessions including tai chi, chakra balancing and reiki.
There are various charges for the different sessions and booking is advisable by calling (01439) 772738.
