MEDITATION and crystals feature in a series of workshops on offer in Glaisdale led by local resident Louise Forsyth.
She explained the aim of the workshops is to improve health and wellbeing and said: "I've been teaching meditation and relaxation techniques and working with crystals for 11 years.
"My workshops include an introduction to crystals and how they can be used personally, in the home, in the workplace and in the wider environment.
"I also run a project called Crystal Earthwork and I'm presently writing a book about crystals.
"The workshops in Glaisdale have already started and the people who came to the first one really enjoyed it.
"But I know that a lot more people are interested and I hope they will join us."
The workshops are held at the Robinson Institute in Glaisdale from 7.30pm to 9pm on 16 and 30 October, 20 November, 4 and 18 December.
They cost £4 for adults and £3 concessions including refreshments.
