THE beautiful artwork of Yorkshire by The Fylingdales Group of Artists is currently on display at Pannett Art Gallery in Whitby.
The group is holding its 76th annual art exhibition, which will showcase artwork from virtually all the members of the group, with each member submitting at least three pieces of their own work.
Some of the paintings will showcase the local area, with others done in the studio.
The group was founded on 25 June, 1925, at a meeting held in Robin Hood's Bay.
It was to be limited to 12 members although this was later increased to 22.
Dame Ethel Walker, ARA, Owen Bowen and Ulric Walmsley were among the founder members and Denton Hawley became the first secretary.
The members of the Fylingdales Group of Artists are scattered over a large area, formally meeting once a year following the annual exhibition.
They said their main bond was a love of Yorkshire, the coastline and of painting.
If you are interested in viewing the paintings the artwork is on display until Thursday.
