Travel in time from the 21st century right back to the first as the original meaning of Christmas is brought to life with a ‘Walk Through Bethlehem’.
It is the third time Eskdale School has been transformed with the sights and smells of Bethlehem.
Guests are greeted by Roman Centurions, traditional characters, bustling market stalls, skilled wood and metal workers, children’s games and candle dipping.
No re-enactment of Bethlehem would be complete without a real-life baby Jesus, a bakery and an inn.
Entry is free to the event, organised by Whitby Christian Fellowship, which takes place on Saturday 2pm - 7pm.
