Man is found dead at mine

A MAN was found dead at the Cleveland Potash Mine in Boulby on Saturday, police have confirmed.
Cleveland Police officers were called to the scene at 6.20pm after reports of a man’s body being found.

A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said a man’s body had been discovered in the mine but they were not treating the death as suspicious.

She said an ambulance was also sent to the scene.

No-one from the mine was available for comment at the time of going to press.
