Whitby Town boss' shock call-up in goal?

WHITBY Town's unusual game plan of sticking boss Harry Dunn in goal appeared to come unstuck when the Blues fell to a 3-1 defeat at Matlock on Saturday.

The team line-up, as revealed in the Matlock programme, took many Seasiders' fans by surprise – not least because 'keeper' Dunn was joined in defence by his number two Bob Scaife.

Regular keeper Dave Campbell and his understudy Ben Escritt – who actually did play in goal at Matlock – formed an unlikely defensive pairing while ex-striker Danny Brunskill made a shock appearance as full-back.

Of course, the real team-sheet took on a slightly different look although the result, sadly, did not.
