Trophy match for bowlers
CASTLETON, Danby and District Bowling Club lost its friendly against Hutton-le-Hole 62-78.
Tomorrow (Sat), members compete for the Dowson Trophy and on Sunday, there is a home match against Hutton Rudby, 2.30pm start.
In the Cleveland League the club won its match against Carlin How by 95 (8 pts) to 59 (2 pts), but it lost to Brotton by 78 (2 pts) to 79 (8 pts).
Today, the club plays at home to Locke Park and on Tuesday there is an away match against Nunthorpe, both 6.30pm start.
In the Langbaurgh Triples League the club beat Locke Park by 76 (8 points) to 33 (0 points).
On Wednesday, there is an away match against Great Ayton, 6.30pm start.
